Besides this, they are compact, reliable and suitable for many purposes as well as being available in different versions at affordable prices.

Limit values safely in view at all times

Limit value relays for monitoring alternating or direct current and alternating or direct voltage are available from Müller + Ziegler in the following variants: With types GMA-1 and GMA-2 respectively, you can choose to detect and monitor one or two limit values. The limit value relays also have a two-digit LED display to show the measured values with clarity. For any given waveform, the alternating quantities are always measured as an effective value.

In addition, for installations with up to 1000 V AC or 1500 V DC we offer the type GMAT-2 electronic limit value relay whose measurements are likewise output on an LED display. It has a test voltage of 7.4 kV. For all limit value relays you can set the on and off response delay, hysteresis, closed-circuit/open-circuit principle (relay switching states) and min. or max. principle. Thus we fulfil high requirements of limit value monitoring as well.

Our phase monitoring relays (three-phase line monitor) continually monitor the voltage values of the three phases of your supply network for overvoltage and undervoltage. They also monitor the phase sequence and detect asymmetry, complete phase dropout and neutral conductor interruption. If a fault occurs, the output relay drops out after a delay time you have configured – while if entire supply phases drop out, an immediate cut-off occurs. Once all values are back in the desired range, the output relay pulls in without delay. At the same time, LEDs indicate the fault conditions – entirely without auxiliary voltage.
