Energy meters suitable for any area of application

The energy meters from Müller + Ziegler are available in many different variants. Energy values in direct current, alternating current and three-phase networks can be accurately detected with the meters. Energy meters are available with direct or current transformer connections and optionally with 20 mA analogue output, Ethernet interface or MID approval. Naturally, all of our kWh meters have LCD displays so that all functions and measured values are always in view. Whether you want to detect the electrical active and reactive energy in differently loaded phases or the active energy and instantaneous import and export active power in direct current, alternating current or three-phase networks: Müller + Ziegler offers you the appropriate energy meter for any area of application.

SINUS 5//1 A and SINUS 85 A energy meters

The three-phase, four-wire a.c. kWh meters for transformer and direct connection (SINUS 5//1 A and SINUS 85 A) are energy meters which are used to detect the electrical active and reactive energy in differently loaded phases. Measurements can be performed in installations with oscillation package controls (intermittent current consumption) as well as with distorted sine wave. These all-electronic energy meters intended for permanent installation work automatically and register up to two energy tariffs. They have MID approval. No additional auxiliary power supply is necessary.

Energy meters of types EZD-S0 and EZD-TCP

The two energy meters of types EZD-S0 and EZD-TCP are used to detect the import and export active and reactive energy and instantaneous active, reactive and apparent power in alternating current or three-phase networks. With these variants too, measurements can be performed in installations with oscillation package controls as well as with distorted sine wave. The energy meters in the S0 variant have two S0 pulse outputs, one analogue output and a tariff control input. The meters in the TCP variant have an Ethernet interface and a tariff control input. All energy meters have a resettable LCD display on which all of the available measured values are output. As is the case for almost all of our products, special versions are possible here as well. EZG energy meter – an innovation for use with direct currents 

The energy meter for direct current is suitable for measuring power and active energy in direct current networks of up to 1500 V. The test voltage is 7.4 kV. It is used primarily in photovoltaic systems, battery systems, charging stations and direct current machines. Depending on the model, this direct current meter can directly measure up to 10 A or be connected to a shunt resistor. All measured values for current, voltage, power and energy are output on the LCD display. The energy values are stored in the device and are output as pulses or to an Ethernet interface for further processing. Some models of this direct current meter are also fitted with a programmable relay contact which can be used to monitor the instantaneous active power and the current or voltage. Thus an EZG energy meter provides you with an optimal overview of your measured values.
