Measuring instruments for top hat rail mounting

Instruments for top hat rail mounting from Müller + Ziegler: Optimal measured value display and monitoring

The ideal solution for measured value display and monitoring: The meters used on small distribution boards are predominantly mounted on DIN rails. Müller + Ziegler meets this need with a range of analogue meters that are easily fitted thanks to snap-on mounting – without any tools. This allows simple and targeted measurement and monitoring of direct and alternating currents.

Moving iron meters for alternating current and voltage as well as moving coil meters for direct current and voltage are to be found in the range from Müller + Ziegler. Voltmeter changeover switches for DIN-rail mounting are also available. All of the meters have snap-on mounting to 35mm DIN rails.

Once installed they measure direct current, direct voltage, alternating current, alternating voltage and operating hours with an accuracy of 1.5 percent in relation to the full scale value. All meters can be permanently overloaded 1.2-fold, current meters briefly even up to 10-fold and voltmeters up to 2-fold. Moving iron current meters in standard version have a 2-fold overload scale.

Secure and economical supply of energy

Distribution boards in particular are used for a both efficient and secure supply of energy in industry and in many commercial buildings. Exact measurement and monitoring of the power supply is an almost universal need, whether in combination with DIN rails or not. Accordingly, an analogue meter from Müller + Ziegler is always available in special variants too that we tailor to your individual requirements.

Measuring ranges without overload ranges (as in a moving iron meter, for example) and outside the standard series are therefore similarly implementable. On request, a red line and/or a coloured sector can be added to the scales at any place.
