Universal meters: Perfect network monitoring and control of the network quality according to the applicable standards

Sustainable corporate governance in most cases also means cost saving: Anyone who works with more efficient plant and consumes less electricity, saves hard cash and protects the environment. The first step in improving the operational process is to measure, monitor and determine the key parameters of your electrical energy supply.

The universal meters offer a complete range of network monitoring devices with associated accessories for this task – the UMG series. These meters help you to gain a full overview of the energy supply, to set limits and receive a warning if they are exceeded. Besides this, the network quality is monitored according to the generally applicable standards (including EN 50160).

What do universal meters measure?

All meters of the UMG series are intended for the measurement and calculation of electrical quantities such as voltage, current, power, work and overshoot. Please note that: Measuring voltages and currents must originate from the same network. We offer variants for building installation, distribution boards, power breakers and busbar distributors as well as snap-on meters for DIN rails.

Our fully digital universal meters are used to display and monitor highly diverse measuring signals of heavy and weak current engineering as well as for high performance network analysis and voltage quality analysis. These meters are used directly for the measurement of current, voltage, frequency or resistance.
