Measuring transducers for current and voltage (true RMS)
for installations up to 1000 V (CAT III) with standard signal outputs

Typen IeffT-MU | UeffT-MU

Application

The IeffT-MU and UeffT-MU measuring transducers serve to convert and isolate a current or voltage into an impressed direct current and direct voltage signal. An integrated limit monitoring is used to monitor the input signal.

Function

The measurable variable reaches the true RMS rectifier via an input protective circuit. Crest factors (peak to effective value ratios) of up to 4 can be processed well. The direct voltage obtained is galvanically isolated from the output by an optocoupler. A downstream amplifier produces the impressed direct current and direct voltage. Both outputs are protected against no-load and short-circuit. Connecting the two outputs is not permissible. The limit can be set in the range 0 – 120% of the input signal. An LED lights up if the limit is exceeded. An auxiliary voltage is required.
