DC energy meter for indirect current measurement
Voltage ranges from 0-10 VDC up to 0-1500 VDC with Ethernet interface

Type EZG-TCP

Application

The EZG-TCP DC electronic energy meter is used to detect the import and export active energy in direct current systems. It is used in photovoltaic systems, battery systems, charging stations and direct current machines. Measurements can be made in plant with pulsed DC controllers (PWM controllers). The energy meters is connected to a shunt. The energy values are output on a display, stored and transferred to an Ethernet interface for further processing. The values for current, voltage and instantaneous active power can also be displayed.

Function

The quantities to be measured reach an integrated module via a shunt and a voltage divider. Here, the instantaneous current and voltage values are multiplied and converted into active power and active energy. A microcontroller takes over the evaluations and storage of the measured values. The values are displayed on an LCD. A separate voltage supply is required. The meter readings are stored in the event of mains failure.
